A) ORAL SESSIONS

Oral sessions will be held in the conference rooms A, B, C, D, and E. The time for oral presentations will be 20 minutes (15 min. presentation + 5min. discussion), 30 minutes (23 min. presentation + 7 min. discussion) or 40 minutes (30 min. presentation + 10 min. discussion). A PC projector will be available. We would appreciate it if the presenter could use his/her own Laptop PC, by connecting it to the PC projector having 4 switching channels for D-sub 15 connector (VGA connector). The presenter is strongly advised to check the proper connection to the projector before the session.

If the presenter needs to use a backup PC in the conference room, please contact the operator in advance. The backup PC is installed following applications: Windows XP/PowerPoint 2007, Adobe Acrobat (version 8) (Japanese language version). The file(s) for presentation must be supplied by a Windows formatted USB flash memory or a CD-ROM. If speakers need to use an overhead projector (OHP) for his/her presentation, please contact the Joint AIRAPT-22 & HPCJ-50 Secretariat as early as possible.

We could not accept a request to use any other projector such as slide and / or video projector.

B) POSTER SESSIONS

Poster sessions will be held in the foyer, 3rd floor of the conference venue. The size of the poster board is 90 cm (width)×180 cm (height).The posters are grouped into three sessions (28P, 29P and 30P) and listed in the scientific program. 28P will be viewed on Tuesday from 14:00 to 15:40, 29P on Wednesday from 14:00 to 15:40 and 30P on Thursday from 14:00 to 15:40. Every poster presenter will be kindly requested to set up their poster with the supplied pushpins before 13:00 for their corresponding poster session.The authors should be present at their posters during the session. The poster should be dismounted before 18:00.

C) Student Poster Awards


Poster awards will be made at the joint AIRAPT-22 and HPCJ-50 to the students who display and present their work most effectively in the poster sessions. Eligible posters should be labelled with a “Poster Award Entry” mark, which will be available at the registration desk in the poster presentation hall. Two winners will be selected from each of the three poster sessions by a selection committee consisting of the HPCJ council members and the AIRAPT advisory members. Awards will be presented to all six winners at the closing session on Friday 31, July.
